In 2025, Friends of the Dallas Public Library marks 75 years of supporting Dallas Public Library.
Since 1950, we have advocated for our library and provided more than $60M in funding for its staff, collections, programs, events and facility upgrades while assisting in the strategic plans that make Dallas Public Library an asset to our community.
As the library environment has changed dramatically in the last 75 years and libraries expand their reach into our community, Friends of the Dallas Public Library stands as a trusted non-profit that works in partnership with the City of Dallas to ensure library programs and services continue.
We're dedicated to supporting Dallas Public Library and its critical role in our community.
Together, we make our library stronger and more responsive to community needs.
Join us in our mission to ensure our library system has the resources to serve our entire community.
