We look forward to seeing you at the FoDPL Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 30, as we celebrate friends old and new, review the year gone by, induct new board members, hand out our annual awards, and kick off the upcoming year in style.
The reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. The meeting and reception will be held at Mabel Peters Caruth Center -
Communities Foundation of Texas headquarters, 5500 Caruth Haven Lane, on the western side of Central Expressway. It's free, but we'd welcome any help in defraying the day's costs. RSVP here by Friday, June 26.
As a membership organization, we are required to notify members of proposed changes to the bylaws in writing. A vote will be held on proposed bylaws changes at the Annual Meeting. All current members as of June 1, 2026, are eligible to vote.
Article III, Section 2: Permits Directors and Officers to be elected at a special meeting after notice to the Board.
Article IX, Section 5: Changes amount required for two signatures from $500 to $1500.
Article IV, Section 2: Requires the Governance and Nominating Committee to provide written notice to the Board at least twenty (20) days before any special meeting where Directors are to be elected.
Article IV, Section 3: Provides that if a Director is elected at a special meeting, the Director’s term will be deemed to have started as of the date of the most recent past Annual Meeting.
