Bring a friend—and make new ones!” our fall membership event honoring National Friends of Libraries Week. This event is complimentary for all current Friends members and their invited guests, so please feel free to bring along a library-loving friend you’d like to introduce to Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
Friends of the Dallas Public Library exists to support the mission of the Dallas Public Library in its delivery of resources, services and information to the Dallas community.
We, the Friends, will enable, support and promote the library to be an essential and vibrant learning institution for the community.
Over the years, we have accomplished many important milestones in our mission to support Dallas libraries, including sponsoring events and advocating for library funding.
We operate out of the J. Eric Jonsson Central Library, so feel free to stop by and visit us on the 7th Floor during library operating hours.
